Enjoy game drives across the savannah, boat cruises on the Kazinga Channel teeming with hippos and crocodiles, and breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains. This safari offers thrilling wildlife experiences and rich cultural tapestry and stunning landscapes of Uganda.

Itinerary Description

Arrival at Entebbe Airport where you will be welcomed by a representative from R&M Safaris, and transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe. Overnight at Airport Guesthouse (B&B)

After your breakfast, drive towards the Southwest from Kampala, have a stopover at the equator for photographs, Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the magical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of this trip. Keeping an eye on the game, you may be rewarded with views of Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. Evening game drive. Overnight Elephant plains or Bush lodge.

Following your breakfast, go for a morning game drive in the park. In the afternoon, be at the pier for the 14h 00 scheduled boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward you will be able to see numerous types of water birds, Hippos and many more animals may be seen drinking water. After your early breakfast, go for an early morning game drive on your way out to Bwindi Forest National Park; expect to see Lions, Elephants, buffalos, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After this, proceed to Bwindi via Ishasha sector famous habitat for tree climbing Lions. Arrive in the evening and overnight at Buhoma Lodge or The Haven Lodge

Go Gorilla tracking accompanied by a guide and porters to carry your luggage. The rainforest is stunning as it offers a strikingly, heavily forested, and dense landscape habitat for numerous primates. Animals in this forest include the endangered mountain gorilla, the rare golden monkey, elephants, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, leopards, giant forest hogs as well as other animals. This park is best known for the mesmerizing gorillas, the time spent on the gorilla tracking experience, and terrain is dependent on the movements of these marvelous primates. The Gorilla tracking experience can be a challenging one due to the terrain, none the less, an awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. After breakfast, drive back to Kampala.  Lunch enroute, if you would like to buy some souvenirs at the equator, you can have a stopover, Proceed to Entebbe for your international departure flight
